Harris Tweed Jacket
When you think of Tweed you automatically think of Scotland. Tweed is a cloth that is handwoven with 100% pure new wool by the islanders on the Isles of Harris, Lewis, Uist, and Barra, located in the outer Hebrides of Scotland. The most common name in tweed is Harris Tweed, who makes the finest jackets.
A Tweed Day jacket is the most common jacket worn with kilts, as the name say “Day” it is typically worn in less formal events, a good multiple weather jacket, used for hiking and walking.
A “Day” jacket has a unique cut to it, it is well tapered in the front panels to the sides to allow the wearer to have access to his Sporran and Kilt belt.
