Each and every piece of jewelry or gift ware made with Heathergems is unique do to the way it is made. The natural heather stems are collected, cleaned, dried and dyed of various colors using natural dyes. The different colors are mixed together and compressed into solid blocks. The block is cut into slices and individual pieces are cut, shaped into special pieces, next they will be sanded and lacquered then set in sterling silver, polished pewter, matt pewter, pewter, and plated pieces.
Every piece of the hand-made jewelry is an original, as no two are ever the same, nothing make the perfect gift than a little piece of Scotland.
